Adélaïde Leferme
“Each work is a mirror held up to the viewer's soul, a journey where dream and reality come together to awaken consciences. ”
Adélaïde Leferme
Adélaïde Leferme, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts du Havre art school and cultural engineer, is constantly exploring new artistic territories. Working with paint, natural pigments, gold leaf and innovative materials such as stretched mirrors, she creates works that question our relationship with beauty, goodness and truth. Between tradition and modernity, her art combines ancestral techniques and technological innovations, giving rise to immersive, contemplative creations. Her works have been installed in prestigious venues and large-scale architectural projects such as the Hilton Paris Défense hotel and Tour A at Cœur Défense. She has also left her mark on major events such as Art Capital at the Grand Palais Éphémère, the Venice Biennale and the Salon d'Automne. With her painted mirrors Like Mirror, she introduces a new artistic dimension in which the viewer becomes an actor in the work. Her work, regularly exhibited internationally (Miami Art Basel, Comparaisons - Grand Palais, Galerie Feng Shang), continues to innovate and push back the frontiers of contemporary art.
